Addiction and Recovery

  • Alcoholics Anonymous: A.A. has a simple program that works. It's based on one alcoholic helping another.

  • Gay & Sober's mission is simple – to provide a safe, fun, and enriching experience to the sober LGBTQ community. Our primary purpose is to encourage unity and enhance one’s sobriety. 

  • The Trans & GNC Weekly All Recovery Meeting is a virtual recovery meeting hosted by ARHE for trans and gender non-conforming folks in recovery. This meeting is designed as a safer space for Trans, GNC, Intersex, and other non-cis folks, but everyone is welcome.

  • The Trevor Project is full of pride, resources, and counselors to reach out to if you're hurting.  

  • Devon Price is a social psychologist, blogger and author of Unmasking Autism.  He's always opening my eyes to new ways of thinking!

  • The It Gets Better Project is a nonprofit organization with a mission to uplift, empower, and connect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer youth around the globe

  • TrevorSpace is an affirming, online community for LGBTQ young people between the ages of 13-24 years old. With over 400,000 members across the globe, you can explore your identity, get advice, find support, and make friends in a moderated community intentionally designed for you.

  • The Affirmative Couch is a committed advocate for the mental health of LGBTQIA+, consensually non-monogamous, and kink communities, working with both groups and individual providers.  They have CEUs for therapists (and they're the best!) 

  • This article by Queering Medicine helped me make my intake forms more inclusive. 

  • Stand with Trans offers training to local businesses, corporations of any size, academic institutions, healthcare systems, and any entity to wants to learn more about what it means to be transgender, how to provide an affirming workspace, and why it’s all so important.

Tweens and Teens

  • Teenage Grief Sucks.  Title says it all.

  • Girlology was designed to give you medically accurate, in-the-moment support needed to navigate your journey with all the facts and greater confidence. An accessible resource like no other, Girlology helps girls and parents prepare for what’s ahead.

  • Girlology just launched Guyology for boys entering puberty.

  • Change to Chill helps teens become more aware of the things that stress them out and equips them with relevant tools and resources to better manage stress and anxiety.
