If you’re ready to begin, the fastest way to get started is to schedule your first session using my online calendar.

You can choose from the following options:

An 80-minute Couples Therapy Intake for Weekly/Biweekly or Intensive Couples Therapy
(This is the starting point for couples seeking therapy.)

A 120-minute Discernment Counseling Session Intake for weekly/biweekly discernment
(Designed for couples who are uncertain whether they want to repair the relationship or separate.)

A 3-hour Initial Session (1 of 2) for a Discernment Counseling Intensive
(Designed for couples who are uncertain whether they want to repair the relationship or separate in a more condensed format.)

Individual sessions are not a standard offering in my practice.
However, in certain situations I may offer individual sessions on a case-by-case basis. If you’re interested in this option, please use the contact form below to reach out.

What happens next:

After you schedule, I personally review each request and respond within 24 hours. If your request comes in over a weekend or holiday, I’ll respond on the next business day.

Is this service the right fit for us? The couples I work with are often tangled up in patterns of high conflict, mistrust, or sexually problematic behaviors. Sometimes there’s been violence or serious hurt. Sometimes it’s just the slow, aching distance that’s built up over time. And yet, under all of that pain, there’s something real: a deep longing to connect, to heal, or to part ways with dignity. What you want is closer than you think - it’s right here, even if right now, you can’t see it clearly. I specialize in helping couples find their way through the mess: untangling the knots, slowing down the chaos, and making a different kind of conversation possible. I have no doubt that I can help you face whatever you’re up against. The real question is: are you ready to do the work to heal your relationship? I know I’m ready - and fully equipped - no matter what you bring in. I’ve packed my Therapy Services pages with everything you need to make an informed decision - no surprises. If you’ve reviewed the information and still have questions, or you’re wondering if a service is the right match before booking, reach out through the Contact Form below. I’m happy to help you figure it out.

Can I schedule a consultation call with you? I’m happy that you’re considering working together. To ensure we’re a good fit, I’ve made sure my website has all the information you need about working with me—so you don’t have to wait for a consultation call. My scheduling demands have led me to stop offering free consultations since January 2024. Instead, I encourage you to book a first session to experience how we work together. I’m confident in the value I provide, and this gives you the best way to see if we’re the right match. If you still have questions or aren't sure which service is right for you, feel free to reach out via my Contact Form —I’m happy to answer your questions.

Do you offer Superbills for insurance? Yes, I do—but only for individual therapy sessions where I can provide a mental health diagnosis. Couples therapy and discernment counseling do not include a mental health diagnosis and are typically not reimbursed by insurance. For couples therapy, I can include a Z code (Z63.0 – Relationship distress with spouse or partner), which some insurance plans may reimburse. Please check with your insurance provider to find out whether they will reimburse services with a Z code or those without a formal diagnosis. Reimbursement should be seen as a bonus not a requirement for working with me.

Do you have availability? What is your schedule? I intentionally keep my caseload small, so I typically have availability within 1-2 weeks. Generally, I’m available Tuesday afternoons, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9am-3pm EST. I sometimes reserve Fridays for intensive sessions. I do not offer therapy after 4pm EST or on weekends, except in rare circumstances (occasionally, I may schedule a couples therapy intensive on a weekend). If you’re looking for a therapist with consistent evening or weekend availability, I may not be the right fit for you.

How do we schedule an intensive? For a Couples Therapy Intensive – please contact me to book your sessions. All intensives begin with two required 80-minute intake sessions: The first is a joint session where we’ll all meet together. The second includes individual sessions with each of you separately. After these, we’ll meet for a 3-hour intensive therapy block. If you’d like to reserve two 3-hour blocks, we can arrange that as well. For a Discernment Counseling Intensive – you can schedule your first 3-hour session using the self-scheduler above, or reach out through my contact form if you prefer. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out via my contact form—I’m happy to help.

What is your cancellation and booking policy? A full-fee, non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking for all initial intakes for weekly or biweekly therapy, Discernment Counseling, and Intensive Therapy services (including the two 80-minute intake sessions required for Intensives). When you book, you’re reserving time set aside just for our work together. I hold that space exclusively and turn away other clients in order to honor our commitment. These policies are in place to respect the time and energy we’re both investing in this process. For ongoing weekly/biweekly/discernment therapy I require 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. If you cancel your appointment with less then 48 hours' notice you will be charged the full amount for the session.
